Hello, my name is Crystyl and I'm 24 years old. I discovered my passion for handmade things when I was young. I think it's safe to say it runs in my family (though not every member, shh...). I'm the kind of person who needs to stay interested, I get bored fast when I have to do the same thing every time.
So with that in mind, it's easy to see why I've tried a little bit of everything...and I mean everything! I've tried my hand at Crocheting, painting, sketching, ceramics, scrap-booking nail art, sewing, home decor, modern dance and mermaid dancing (I'm joking about that last part. If any of you have seen Pitch Perfect, you'll get that joke!). Anyway, in all those, I loved them but I just never found that...spark. Until I stumbled upon Jewelry making!
It all started when I was strolling through Walmart, looking through the jewelry and couldn't find a single thing I liked. Then I thought "Hm, couldn't be that hard to make my own necklace". And so, I made my way to the bead aisle, and I've been a goner ever since!
The reason I fell in love with Jewelry making is because in one word, it's FUN! If you haven't tried it, I strongly recommend you do! It's amazing when you can surprise yourself with a new creation, and even better, you can wear it and show it off.
Only recently, I decided to try to sell the enormous inventory I was beginning to horde, thinking maybe it would help me make a little money and pay for my...cough cough....bead addiction. It has been quite an adventure! I created this blog to display the things I make for this awesome design team I am on called Blue Moon Beads. It is so fun and it's helped me branch out in so many different ways. Anyway, that's enough about me. Look around and let me know what you think. To be honest, I have no idea what will be posted next, I'm going along for the ride just as much as you guys.
